Potty Training!!!!

Last Thursday, the 5th, we had a major breakthrough with Shelby and the potty training. She saw a preschool playground and wanted to go there. I told her about her preschool she would be going to in September. I also "fibbed" a little and told her she had to be going to the potty and if not, they would send her home. She resisted momentarily and then reluctantly gave in and said "Ok, I'll go to the potty". With that statement, she resolved herself to going to the potty and we have been in "big girl panties" ever since. We use the pullups at night but I have a feeling she will be out of those soon! It was so nice to take them out ALL DAY last Saturday and not have a pullup to deal with. Although, it did mean finding a potty whenever, wherever she felt the urge! But we had a great time shopping together and picking out Mother's Day presents. Jessie is in another pageant tomorrow at Bragg Middle School in Gardendale. This one is the Encore Pageant, that her dance studio's dance team is doing as a fundraiser. I will try to get a picture posted from the last pageant that she did on April 22, Little Miss North Jefferson County. Well, I will update after the pageant!
